Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman, ‘ for she was taken out of man.”
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
Hudson Gardens was the magnificent backdrop for Cortney and Christian’s religious ceremony and reception. The cherry blossoms were in bloom and so was the joy of all family and friends that attended this union on April 10th 2015.
I have had the pleasure of photographing many weddings in the past, however this one was a little different. It was less about the party and dancing, but more about the sacred act and significance of marriage itself. The ceremony lasted over an hour and it was spectacular and inspiring to see how all guests were involved in the union of Cortney and Christian. The bride’s father married the couple and brought tears to most guests and even myself and I listened to what he had to say about the couple and their beliefs.
The reception was in the middle of the day and perfect to congratulate the newly wed couple and send them on their way to their honeymoon in a surprise exit in a Roles Royce!
Congratulations Cortney and Christian. You are a beautiful couple, and we were honored to capture this perfect union.
